We keep it simple with club traditions of:
Spring Dust Off Car Tour
Spring Estate & Garden Picnic on the Lawn
Periodic Summer Tour
The Club Member Fall Meet
Frostbite / Turkey Run
Christmas at the Carriage House
Anyone in the club will tell you that we are an all-welcoming friendly bunch of people who love our common interest in all things brass or gas related. We take that love and turn it into memories through our car tours, small and large gatherings, and very entertaining special events and activities focused around family fun.
When opened up to the world of antique cars, a child's mind runs with curiosity, excitement, and awe. Old cars are a great way to connect with children young and old, not only during fun ice cream trips with the kids, but for tapping into their curiosity, understanding and appreciation for the significant physical things that helped shape the current world they live in.
Our club is inclusive, accessible for special needs, and encourages whole family involvement in our antique car adventures.
We encourage kids to jump in driver's seats for pictures and horn honking or jumping in a friends car for the Teeter Totter at our Fall Meet. If it driving or food your family loves, if you don't have an old car, there is always an open seat for a short ride to grab ice cream or a burger on one of our spring or fall car tours.
From experience, there really isn't anything cooler than Dad, Mom, Gramma or Grampa asking you to help shift gears or help make turn signals while on tour. Those simple things are what will help carry on our love for old cars and the old car community.
If you have kids or grandkids of any ability, PLEASE, register for one of our events, bring them on a tour and see for yourself. You might find that this old hobby and group of friends are just what you're family has been looking for!
Some would say tire-kicking is a long-lost art, others...an art that should stay lost! Join this group and you'll be among the worlds most skilled tire kickers.
Our members are friends and family first - made up of a diverse cast of characters of well-known car restorers, collectors, enthusiasts, and mechanics, but most importantly, we are a bunch of families that have antique cars written in our DNA from a young age.
And boy...we can talk about our cars, and yours if you like! So if you like cars and troubleshooting mechanical gremlins, or sharing your approach on how you tackled something on your car....come to one of our events and test out the ol' tire kick tradition for yourself...you wont be disappointed!
With about 125 regular participants / friends coming to our events and activities each year, our network of car knowledge is strong. We are an open group - always willing to assist others in the hobby with challenges from the very simple to the very complex, and all in between.
Chances are, if you're having a mechanical issue with your old car, we can kick enough tires and chew enough ears off to get you pointed in the right direction!
Don't be surprised if someone in the club has the very part or piece you need to get the job done.
We love helping others get on the road. The more the merrier!
